It utilizes the pressure of the medium itself to slowly close the main valve core, eliminating and regulating the water hammer phenomenon, achieving the functions of slow closing, noise reduction, and check.

When working: Open the needle valve and ball valve, water enters the main valve control room through the needle valve and one-way valve, and flows through the conduit to the outlet. Because the flow channel of the needle valve core is smaller than that of the ball valve core, that is, the drainage volume of the valve chamber on the main valve is greater than the inflow volume, the pressure in the diaphragm chamber decreases, and the main valve core opens under the action of inlet pressure to supply water to the valve rear.
When the water supply stops in front of the valve, downstream water begins to flow back, and a portion of the backflow water enters the upper valve chamber of the main valve through the conduit. Due to the closure of the one-way valve, the backflow water cannot flow out of the upper valve chamber, causing the pressure inside the upper valve chamber to gradually increase. This is because the diaphragm area is larger than the main valve core area. The pressure difference formed causes the main valve to slowly close. Reduced the sound of valve core closing and minimized water hammer phenomenon.
Notes:
One Adjusting the opening of the outlet ball valve on the conduit can change the slow closing speed of the main valve. Increasing the opening of the ball valve will cause the main valve to close faster, while decreasing the opening of the ball valve will cause the main valve to close slower. The closing time of the main valve can be adjusted within 3S-60S. Ball valves can also be replaced with needle valves.
II The pressure gauge at the outlet of the main valve can observe large water hammer peaks. If the water hammer peak is too high, the closing speed of the main valve can be slowed down.
III The closing time of the main valve should not be too slow, otherwise it may cause the water pump and motor to reverse and damage them.
4 A filter should be installed in front of the main valve to prevent impurities from blocking the conduit and needle valve.
